Bernadette Finkin
Bernadette Finken is an HR and Digital, Analytics, and Technology leader for Best Buy Co. Inc. She is currently leading within a talent mobility assignment providing strategic support to Best Buy’s Chief Digital, Analytics, and Technology Officer. Prior to this strategic assignment, Bernadette was Head of Talent Acquisition. In this role, she was responsible for helping the company attract diverse, exceptional people to work across a wide range of roles and geographies. Bernadette has more than 20 years of strategic human resources and technology experience, including leadership roles in HR technology, workforce administration, employee and labor relations and talent acquisition. Under her leadership, Best Buy’s talent acquisition team has undergone a significant transformation aimed at better competing for talent in a rapidly changing workforce. This includes the introduction of new strategies to support key business initiatives and achieve the company’s ambitious hiring goals. Before joining Best Buy in 2011, Bernadette spent 15 years at Lawson Software, where she served in a variety of leadership roles within product management, consulting, IT, and accounting.
John Vomhof
John Vomhof is Best Buy’s Sr. Manager of Talent Brand and Marketing. John has been with Best Buy for almost 10 years! John started off his career in reporting/broadcasting including covering Best Buy at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. John joined Best Buy in 2014 as a manager in PR and External Communications. He joined the Talent Acquisition team in 2021 and has done some incredible work to revamp our Talent Acquisition brand and marketing strategy. Some of his great work includes revamping our career site and taking a data-centered approach to determining the most effective ways to attract talent here at Best Buy. Watch out- with his background as a reporter, he knows how to ask the tough questions! This panel should be interesting.
